Oddworld New N Tasty is an action-adventure video game for Mac OS. It is a remake of the first part of the Oddworld game series - Abe's Oddysee, which was released back in 1997. The game was developed by the American company Oddworld Inhabitants under the leadership of Lorne Lenning, who at one time led the creation of the original part. The remake was released in 2014.

The universe of the game is a surreal world inhabited by various bizarre creatures. One of the central themes of Oddworld is capitalism and the evil that greedy business can create for its own profit.

The plot tells us the story of Abe, an employee of a food factory, where he worked as a regular cleaner. But by chance he learns about the plans of the factory management to launch a new product line. Gameplay wise, the game for Mac OS is quite varied, interesting and although the kernel may seem outdated, it can still hold the player tightly to the screen. In the process of passing Oddworld New N Tasty, Abe will: rush through the armed guards of the factory, overcome various traps and mines, solving various puzzles, and occasionally take up arms. But it turns out that Abe is not so simple and has telepathic abilities that allow him to infiltrate the minds of other creatures, and this skill turns out to be very important when escaping from a terrible factory.

The player in the process of passing will have to save about three hundred workers, overcoming obstacles and terrible enemies. Compared to the original, the remake clearly improved the graphics, making it more enjoyable and technologically advanced, but at the same time the team was able to maintain the atmosphere of the original and its unique charm, for which Oddworld Inhabitants deserve praise.

And for those players who were not satisfied, the developers created a small DLC called Alf's Escape. In it, you have to save another worker from the clutches of the factory management. It would seem that it is difficult, but, as the developers said before the release of the DLC, it will be, as short, only 2 hours of gameplay, and very difficult. The new level is a very large and intricate puzzle, and every mistake threatens the death of the main characters.
