Review

In Crazy Machines for Mac OS, players build fictional machines that rotate handles, rotate gears, pull levers, and more to create a unique gizmo. The player can solve over 200 challenging puzzles and experiment with mechanisms, robots, explosives and more in the virtual laboratory. The game uses a physics engine to simulate various variables in the game, such as air pressure, electricity, gravity, and particle effects.

The player will have to turn the handles, rotate the gears, press the levers, use the catapult, blow it up or control it. From roasting sausages with a pulley, cogwheels, rubber bands and candles to shooting a basketball cannon, these wacky puzzles will spark your imagination with creative and addictive fun.

Gameplay

The main task of the player in Crazy Machines on Mac OS is to put the missing parts into chain reactions and turn them into ingeniously working machines to solve puzzles like these: how to successfully hit an Egyptian statue in the face, how to shoot a teapot from a "precision crossbow" in the form of a head unicorn how to start the gray matter engine of an old space taxi cadet.

The player can use physical systems to their advantage, be it electricity, explosions, lasers, lightning, or wind. By working with chips, he can go deeper into details and give objects their individual properties. If the player does not like a wooden board for making a device, he can choose from different materials such as metal or stone, and also change the size, axis of rotation and color.

In order to complete the task, the player who decides to Download the game and test his patience is given a strictly defined amount of time and several different objects, in total there are about a hundred objects in the game. After the route is completed and launched, the laws of physics begin to act on it: some objects fall, others are pushed, thus creating a chain reaction. The game has about 100 tasks of varying difficulty. All of them are accompanied by comments by the professor acting as the player's mentor. With his phrases, he can both express delight with the actions of the player, and express the absurdity of the constructed structure.
