Zuma's Revenge! Is a logic-arcade game for Mac OS in which you have to play as a frog destroying colored balls. The series is developed by PopCap Games, well known to all fans of the genre. The studio is responsible for the development of some of the most popular projects in the world. Among them are hits like Peggle, Plants vs Zombies or Bejeweled.

In the game you have to control a frog that sits in the center of the board and spits out clay balls of different colors. With their help, other spheres are destroyed, moving along winding paths. The player's task is to get to the right places, taking into account the color of the objects. Of course, there is a coin reward for each batch. The round ends when the chain of balls reaches the golden hole.

The gameplay is extremely simple, fast and very addictive. In the main Adventure mode, seventy beautifully designed levels with unique traps await players. They can be completed in about four hours, but the big advantage of the mode is its great potential for replay. After all, the player collects special coins for each level. For passing the level, one is awarded, for a good indicator of time - the second, and for the number of points scored - the third. Earning the three types of coins in the later stages requires a strong playstyle and, of course, a good dose of luck. Collecting coins can significantly extend the time spent in the game. It's a shame, but there are not enough difficulties here. The basic difficulty level is pretty easy and, with the exception of a few levels, is definitely not difficult.

The second part of Zuma takes us to a mysterious island ruled by the evil kings of Tiki. Therefore, the already familiar frog must again show what it is capable of. This time she received many new opportunities and attacks. Among them: lightning - destroys all balls of the same color in one hit, or even a triple hit - turns the frog into a cannon that shoots three crushing shells.

The creators of Zuma's Revenge have prepared many surprises for fans of the original. At some levels, the Zuma can slide in a straight line for a large area of ​​fire. In addition, now the frog is not static and does not stand in one place, in many cases you can change its position on the board. New abilities will definitely come in handy in the fight against Tiki bosses. There will be six of them in total, each of them has its own characteristics, for example, the Mage-Mage controls two guard slaves.

Zuma's Revenge for Mac OS doesn't have stunning graphics, but it certainly looks pretty. The creators have slightly improved the visual component. Compared to the original, the boards are more detailed and, above all, colorful. As always, the environment is made in a specific, non-invasive style, familiar from other PopCap Games games.
