Gameplay

SPORE on Mac OS offers a wide range of possibilities, from the choice of appearance, size and ending with the path of development of the creature. In other words, this is an evolution simulator, where the user will directly take part and even contribute to the development of a certain organism.

The developers have divided the evolution of the creature into several stages, at the end of which a bonus is issued. Each bonus is unique, it is based on the player's actions, and on the relationship with other creatures: aggressive, friendly, neutral. The bonus can change, moreover, it affects the following stages, for example, by changing certain physical parameters: combat power, or intelligence increases.

The gameplay begins with the choice of one of several planets intended for the life and development of the creature. Then comes the choice of the stage at which the progress along the chain of evolution will begin. The "Cage" period consists in choosing further development. If the player behaved friendly, did not eat pieces of meat, then evolution will move in this direction.
