The city in which players will enjoy the game consists of 3 islands connected by bridges: Portland, Staunton and Shoreside Vale. From the very beginning of the game, only the first island will be available - Portland, most of which are warehouses, factories, markets and garages. As you progress through the game, the next two will open. Staunton is the business district of Liberty City. It is built up with skyscrapers, shopping malls, casinos, etc. The third island, Shoreside Vale, consists of estates, luxury villas, recreation areas and other delights of country life.
