Plot

The story unfolds during the late Bronze and early Iron Ages. Good and evil fought, but everything did not happen according to the canon - darkness won. And now the world is ruled by the real tyrant Kairos, and the main character, the Maker of Fates, helps him in this. Traveling around the world, the protagonist must establish order in the world, interacting with both friendly and hostile creatures. And the witness of these events will be the player, whose choice during the passage of the game will decide the fate of this "dark" land.

Gameplay

The player can assemble a team of other characters, appointing them as his companions. The skills and abilities of the protagonist may depend on the chosen faction to which he is attached. Companions also help the protagonist in battle, killing enemies using joint attack options.

The most important thing that makes this game stand out from the rest of the action-RPG is the strong influence of each player's choice on the state of the environment and relationship with the NPC. By communicating with NPCs, the user gains experience, just like participating in battles. Dialogues should be treated with care, because each selected replica can lead to irreparable events. If the player chose the answer option that opens a magical rift that kills part of the NPC, while the other part goes to the neighboring settlement, this will play a big role in the relationship between NPCs and the player, so you need to approach the dialogs with care.

2 DLCs have been added to Tyranny for Mac OS. Bastard's Wound adds new side quests, and Tales from the Tiers adds new story quests.
