The Wolf Among Us. Episode 1-5 is a Mac OS game developed and published by Telltale Games in 2013 with subsequent episodes until 2014. The project is similar to other games from this studio, such as "The Walking Dead", "Tales From The Borderlands" and others.

Gameplay

The game is a regular project of the company, which is recommended by Download. The player is given a character to control throughout the game. The user must select answers in dialogs and perform actions in QTE scenes. As with the Walking Dead games, the player's choices in each episode have consequences that affect the outcome of the story.

Plot

The Wolf Among Us on Mac OS is based on the Fables comics, revealing the events before the first issue that took place several decades ago. A mysterious world with fabulous creatures was captured by a tyrant, because of which the inhabitants of magical and mystical lands fled from there to the real world. In the real human world, the heroes of fairy tales created their enclave called "Fabletown", located in America, the city of Manhattan. Now the "Tales" share a place with ordinary people, hiding their forms with the help of magic. The player will take on the role of the Big and Terrible Gray Wolf, simply called Bigby Wolf, who is the sheriff of Fabletown.

The story begins with a conversation between the protagonist and the frog in human form, Toad, in which the latter talks about the terrible loud screams from the Lumberjack's room. The sheriff goes there, where he finds out the reason: the owner of the room mocked the girl. He threatened and beat the stranger. Because of this, Bigby starts a fight with the Lumberjack, subsequently falling out of the window with him onto Toad's car. In view of the superiority in strength, the protagonist begins to strangle, but the Lumberjack is stabbed into the head by that unfamiliar girl who was beaten. The stranger says that Bigby is not as scary as others say. The sheriff thanks her and they leave.

Returning home, the Wolf learns that Colin, one of the "Three Little Pigs", escaped from the Farm (the place where the poor. Later, Snow White knocks on him, inviting the main character to the Woodlands apartment. Having found the severed head of a stranger, Bigby realizes that this was not done by chance.

Upon learning of this, Deputy Mayor Ichabod Crane appoints Snow White and Wolf as investigators for the girl's murder. The investigation is required to be conducted discreetly and quickly, until the residents of Fabletown learned about it. What outcome awaits the heroes of the story is up to the player, because the fate of each will depend on his choice.
