In Fire on Mac OS, a protagonist named Ungh had to keep an eye on his tribe's fire during the night. But, being a bit of a clumsy Neanderthal, Ungh fell asleep and let the fire go out. Now Ungh's task is to get new fire for his tribe. He embarks on a long and exciting journey that will take him through a unique world of the Stone Age, full of yet unseen, bizarre creatures and exciting puzzles. On his journey, Ungh will ride dinosaurs and even find his true love.

The Neanderthal Ungh sets out to explore the prehistoric and fantasy world in search of a new source to ignite the flame. During a psychedelic vision resulting from the eaten rotten fruit, the spirit of nature tells Unghu to find ten magical fireflies, each hidden in a different part of the world, in order to open a portal to the next. In each area he passes through, Ungh will have to interact with the environment and go through a variety of puzzles in order to get the elusive prize and move on to the next stage.

Gameplay

The various levels that Ungh passes through include the "World of Caves", "World of Volcanoes" and "World of Ice". But Fire is not aimed at creating a realistic prehistoric universe, so players will also be crossing the Dragon World, piloting a time machine and donning a spacesuit in Lunar World. Each location is full of colorful, hand-drawn cartoon landscapes and creatures. Turtle-like ceramic pots, a quartet of jungle barbers, monkeys doing IQ tests, jumping stones and giant frogs all populate the lands that the player must play in Download game.

Puzzles in the Mac OS game work in two different ways. Moving the cursor over an interactive object will cause it to light up in one of two colors. A yellow cursor means that Ungh can interact with the object directly, while a blue cursor indicates that the player can control the object on his own. Typically, the player needs to either force Ungh to grab a specific element needed to interact with a specific object in the environment, or activate and move elements around to create the desired effect.

Puzzles often require custom logic. During the game, the player will encounter many obstacles that must be approached in different ways. One scenario involves a strategic change in shape, while another requires a cyclic transition between day and night, which accordingly causes some changes in the environment.
