Mount & Blade: Warband is an RPG video game for Mac OS. The game is part of the Mount & Blade series. The actions of this part of the series take place in a fictional world, similar to medieval Europe. Developed by Warband by Turkish studio Tale Words and released in 2010.

The main character is an unknown character created by the player. The player himself chooses the gender, appearance, age and background of his character, which affects the starting set of the hero's characteristics, his initial inventory and some dialogues in the game.

In the course of the game, the player will have to rise from a simple warrior to the very top, pumping his character, buying new weapons, recruiting people into a team. In the first hours, it will be a normal team of mercenaries of 5-6 people, who carry out minor assignments of vassals and fight robbers. In a few hours it will already be a small group of 20 people, which can join the huge army of one of the kingdoms, and climb the career ladder up to the king, or fight only on themselves, starting with plundering villages and capturing small cities in order to build their own empire from scratch.

The game mechanics are pretty simple. The game is divided into 2 modes - global map and battle. On the global map, the player chooses where to go, whom to fight, resolves issues with the army, recruiting new soldiers, diplomatic issues, speaks with his companions and sends them on missions, as well as the management of his own equipment and the inventory of his retinue. In the future, on this map, you can also develop your settlements and cities.

The key feature of the game, which can be download here, is the battle mode. Whereas in other games the army is controlled from above in strategic mode, in Mount & Blade: Warband on Mac OS, the game is played as your character, who, along with her army, rushes into battle. It can be both ordinary skirmishes in the field, and defense or siege of a castle, an attack on a village or a bandit camp, or large-scale battles with armies numbering several hundred people on each side.

The difference between Warband and the first part is the presence of an online game mode, which supports up to 64 players on one map. After the release, there were modifications that allow 200 players to play on one server. Combat modes include: Conquest, Capture, Capture the Flag, Siege, Duel, Team Deathmatch, Deathmatch. In battles, players earn gold, which they can use to buy new equipment for their character. There are also clans in multiplayer and various tournaments are held.
